GALLAGHER & KENNEDY ANNOUNCES NINE NEW ASSOCIATES
PHOENIX (Sept. 12, 2008) – Phoenix-based Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A., a full service business law firm, announced the addition of nine new associates to the Phoenix office today: R. Matthew Emerson, Stuart S. Kimball, Russell C. Lakey, Heather A. McKee, Andrea Nicholson, Timothy W. Overton, Benjamin C. Runkle, Daniel B. Seiden and Christopher W. Thompson.
Matt Emerson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre in 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Saint Louis University in Missouri. Mr. Emerson practices general commercial litigation.
Stuart Kimball earned his Juris Doctor from Arizona State University in May 2008. He graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University. Mr. Kimball practices environmental and natural resources law.
Russell Lakey earned his Juris Doctor in 2008 from Vanderbilt University. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University in 2004. Mr. Lakey practices general commercial litigation.
Heather McKee joins earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska in 2008. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an economics minor, from the University of Wyoming. In addition, she holds a masters degree from Colorado State University in business administration. Ms. McKee practices tax law.
Andrea Nicholson earned her Juris Doctor from Arizona State University in 2008. She graduated from the University of Utah in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and a minor in chemistry. Ms. Nicholson practices intellectual property law.
Tim Overton most earned his Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University in 2007. Prior to joining Gallagher & Kennedy, he was a law clerk for the honorable Diane M. Johnsen of the Arizona Court of Appeals. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. Mr. Overton practices general commercial litigation.
Ben Runkle earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2008. He earned his bachelor’s degree with high honors in ancient history and classic civilization from the University of Texas. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Runkle was a police officer and firefighter. Mr. Runkle practices general commercial litigation and criminal defense law.
Dan Seiden earned his Juris Doctor from Arizona State University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2003 from Pepperdine University. Mr. Seiden practices employment and labor law.
Chris Thompson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona in 2008. He earned a degree in theater design/technical production from the University of Arizona, as well. Mr. Thompson practices general commercial litigation.
